Business Valuation is the process of estimating the market value of a company. It has many utilities, but the main one is restoring the actual worth of the entity. EFC, in association with highly experienced and renowned Economists and Accountants, takes care of all Business Valuation types.
Kinds of Valuation
1. Per Assets
1.1. Valuation of fixed assets of the Company, such as equipment, machinery, facilities, etc.
1.2. Valuation of all assets, including cash, short and long-term assets, plant, property and equipment, as well as intangible assets (technology, trademark, processes, etc.).
2. Per Liabilities
It is possible to valuate the liabilities of a company, including hidden ones such as fiscal, tax, labor, bank-related, partnership-related, etc.
3. Per Assets and Liabilities
In this fashion, the objective is determining the actual equity value, either accounting or economic worth.
4. Per Special Methods
It is possible, by means of special approaches, to valuate on intangible assets, such as technology and/or trademark, creating an official report on the said valuation for accounting purposes.
5. Determining the economic value
Economic value can be determined either by the equity method (assets and liabilities) or methods linked to the cash generation, historical or projected. The two methods are complementary.
